Place of Refuge
We couldn't get enough of this tiny national park. We visited twice.
Standing out on the rocky lava shore. This is probably what the place would have looked like to fleeing Hawaiians who were trying to reach the place of refuge.

Coconut palms sway in the breeze, lulling us into a very pleasant torpor.
