Hiking Copper Glance Lake
September 28, 2007
About two miles up the trail, we found these mine tunnels. Eric goes exploring.
Starting to get higher, we can see new snow on the big peaks.
Copper Glance Lake, ringed with larches. This place is much more beautiful than the guidebooks would suggest.
Eric is noticing that the weather is coming in -- first snow of the season for him.
Descending back toward the tiny muddy lakes before Copper Glance.
Fall colors tinged with a bit of snow.
A larch in its full glory.
Another larch.
Love the fall colors.

Back at our campsite at Pearrygin Lake State Park, we found the grounds were staked out by these vicious beasts.
